Preparations:Now, for the two practical options you need to download the Leopard distribution. The latest one out on the internet is from a development team named iDeneb. They have the latest Leopard release - 10.5.5, so go to a popular torrent site (I cannot link or suggest one for legal reasons) and if you happen to type in something similar to "iDeneb 10.5.5" you might happen to find what you need. Unless you have a crazy good connection, expect to wait at least half a day for the whole thing to download. It is a large file and will take a considerable time to acquire. Then you need to burn the .iso file to the blank DVD. I like to use a free program called ImgBurn. You can download it here -2646_4-10847481.html?tag=mncol
If reinstalling Leopard, I suggest iPC 10.5.6 PPF5. It will install 10.5.6, which boasts some big upgrades from the much older 10.5.2. You can then of course follow your various Upgrade guides to upgrade up to 10.5.8. Regardless, try following this guide on getting your Audio working and this link to the broadcom script. Intructions for the script are included in the download. After installing, reboot with -f and report back how it goes. For more drivers/kexts, check out the Master Drivers Guide
Hi Tom. I download the iPC Universal PPF5 10.5.6 and installed it. After re-installing the software, I followed your guide, took out the DVD, and rebooted. After that, pressing F8, I typed in the two boot flags, -v -f. Again there was lots of text scrolling. But once again, I reach my same problem. I waited five seconds, then closed the lid for about 10-15 seconds, and opened the lid again. Unfortunately, I did not get what I expected, the screen is still black, but I know that the screen is on. What should I do from here?
I know this is probably a pain being you just go the install working but the easiest way is probably to just download iPC Universal PPF5 10.5.6 and reinstall OS X. To get your audio working almost perfectly including Internal Microphone, just go here.

Nathan- try reinstalling the keyboard and mouse preference pane from 10.5.5 because in 10.5.6 the trackpad became its own pane. To install, download the file, unzip it, and then double click it. It should now be installed again in the Keyboard and mouse pane. -content/uploads/2009/04/keyboardprefpane.zip

You have manually enlarge windows by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner of the screen. If you click the green button though, the one next to the yellow and and red button, it will automatically expand the window to be large enough for your content ( so you dont have to scroll to the left or right.About the updates, do no download and install the 10.5.6 update. The unfortunate thing about hckintoshes is that you have to update the system one step at a time. What I mean iis that you cant go from 10.5.2 to 10.5.6, you must go from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 to 10.5.4 to 10.5.5 and then to 10.5.6. To obtain these updates you have to download each delta version from apple.com (Make sure it is the delta updates and not the combo updates) Complete instructions on upgrading for all of the versions can be found on this blog.
Do not select any video drivers because the grpahics card will be supported automatically. If you are still trying to get it working then wait for thirty minutes and see what happens. Another option would be for you to download and try out the new ipc 10.5.6 install dvd and then not have to worry about updating anything
I downloaded the 10.5.4 update from the apple website and everytime i try to install it my computer freezes when it is writing the data and I cant reboot into it again without reinstalling from the kalyway 10.5.2 cd. Is there something I am doing wrong becuase i have tried it 3 times and everytime the same thing happens. Should i try the 10.5.5 or should i just stick with the 10.5.3 from the kalyway update cd? 2ff7e9595c
